Enrollment Advising Basics
Enrollment Advising is the only meeting that is required for all students in our department. Advisors must release a student’s “Term Advisement Hold” for them to be able to enroll in the next term’s classes.
It is recommended that you either schedule 30 minutes for these appointments to be able to have in-depth conversations with advisees, or make yourself available and encourage them to come in at other times during the term for more in-depth conversations.

- Advising Form (to print or fill out online): Filling out an advising form prior to a meeting forces students to think about what they are doing and why. It also helps advisors organize the conversation during a meeting.
